Pinellas Park, Florida-- Do you have what it takes to serve on the police force?

The Pinellas Park Police Department will host their 2013 Citizen's Police Academy on Tuesdays during the months of April and May.

Pinellas Park, Florida -- Less than two days after a police car was stolen and ditched in a lake minus the firearms stored in its trunk, Pinellas Sheriff's detectives say this isn't the first time.

Detectives are asking for the public's help identifying the suspect or suspects who stole weapons and other police items from an unmarked Sheriff's vehicle sometime between 5 p.m. on March 11 and 7 a.m. on March 12.

St. Petersburg, Florida -- The man who robbed two banks in the past two days was arrested around 7 p.m. Feb. 27. 

St. Petersburg Police detectives in partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service arrested Erik Michael Durkin at Nadiya's Cabaret without incident.

Durkin has been charged with the robbery of the SunTrust Bank at 3601 34 Street North on Feb. 25 and the TD Bank at 425 22 Avenue North on Feb. 26.
