Geoff Williams brings comedy illusions to the Performing Arts Center

Pinellas Park, Florida-- Enjoy a fun evening of magic, mystery and laughter.

The comedy Illusions of Geoff Williams comes to the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center on Saturday, May 18.

Show time for this event is 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are just $25 per person or $40 for couples at the door, with $5 off each price for advanced purchases.

Geoff Williams is a three-time "Magician of the Year" who has performed and lectured in over 17 countries.

The Performing Arts Center is located at 4951 78th Avenue North in beautiful Pinellas Park.

Pinellas Park, Florida-- The public is invited to the Pinellas Park 3rd Annual Fire Truck Pull.

This free event will take place at England Brothers Park on Saturday, May 18th beginning at 9 a.m.

Teams can attempt a pull of a fire truck for a $100 donation.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Be The Match Foundation, finding marrow transplants for those in need.

Enjoy family friendly time with games, face painting and photos available, along with food for a small fee.

This free event will take place across the 5600 block of Park Boulevard on Wednesday, May 15th beginning at 5 PM.

Join the Pinellas Park mayor and members of the city council for an evening of fun, food and music. 

Take a tour of the redeveloped area of the 5600 Block and United Cottages on Park Boulevard.

Pinellas County, Florida -- Thinking of adopting a pet sometime soon? In August, Pinellas County Animal Services will be celebrating all month by offering reduced adoption costs for both dogs and cats. 

During the month of August, $5 rabies vaccinations with the purchase of a license will be available for pets each Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. The adoption fee will be reduced to $25.

Online job fair for Tampa Bay's youth

Clearwater, Florida -- From May 12 to May 18, people will have access to job opportunities through an online job fair targeting job seekers ages 14 to 24. 

The hiring event will span a four-county radius including Manatee, Sarasota, Hillsborough and Pinellas. 

“The virtual job fair is an opportunity to connect youth with employment so that they may gain the skills and experience necessary to become successful future members of the workforce,” said Edward Peachey, President and CEO of the Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance and WorkNet Pinellas.

Mail carriers collect food for Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive!

Carrollwood, Florida - Mail carriers will take part in the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Residents can leave non-perishable food item by their mailbox and the letter carrier will pick it up. The food will be donated to food banks to distribute to needy citizens.

Last year, over 70-million pounds of food was donated across the country.

If you cannot leave food items by your mailbox, you can drop it by your local post office.
