St. Petersburg, Florida -- You can spend Mother's Day at the Rays for $15. Komen Suncoast will be at the Trop Sunday, May 12th as the Rays take on the Padres. They encourage you to wear pink. The deadline to order seats is May 3rd at 4 p.m., so act fast.

Tampa Friends of Old time Dance would like to invite the community to enjoy their May shows at the Pinellas Park Auditorium.

Come see Kumquats at Large with caller Stan Prince on Friday, May 3.

Then on Saturday, May 11, enjoy the music of Deux Francios Band with caller Doug Singleton.

Regular admission for each show is only $8, with kids 12 and under getting in for free.

FDOT is teaming up with the Tampa Bay Rays and will be present at the game today to hand out free safety materials to fans.

Pinellas County preserve has new April programs

Pinellas County, Florida -- Many hiking opportunities are available at Weedon Island Preserve in April.

Regular two-hour guided hikes begin at 9 a.m. each Saturday. Participants learn about the ecosystems and early residents of Weedon Island Preserve while hiking the coastal uplands and along boardwalks through mangrove forests. The hikes are best for ages 6 and older.

Pinellas County, Florida -- Time is running out to sign up for Viva Las Chicas 2nd annual bike ride Pedaling for Pink on March 2 to help raise money to help Tampa Bay families affected by a cancer diagnosis.

The one-day ride through Pinellas County will include a 5-mile, 32-mile, and a 64-mile route.

The bicycling event is designed for families and diehard riders alike, with something for everyone. It is a day to celebrate life with loved ones, friends, and hopefully, new acquaintances!
